Patterns on Patterns on Patterns

Not too long ago, I discovered Toronto designer Hayley Elsaesser, and immediately fell in love with her vibrant designs (I honestly want to own everything she makes). I also immediately knew I needed to rep her designs on my nails. Most of the time, I paint nail art that consists of mainly black and white, so getting to paint these ultra colourful nails was super fun.

To get all the colours for this, I Frankensteined a bunch of polishes. The pale pink is a mix of Sure Thing from Revlon, Primrose and Proper from Sally Hansen, and Make Some Noise from Essie. The cherries are painted with acrylic. The yellow colour is Mellow Yellow from Sally Hansen, and the mouth is acrylic. On my middle finger, I started with a base of Blue-Away from Sally Hansen mixed with Make Some Noise, and a tiny bit of Sure Thing. The leopard spots were pink and magenta acrylic. Finally, my pointer finger was a mix of Primrose and Proper and Reef-Raf from Sally Hansen's Triple Shine collection and the leaves are painted with black and white acrylic.

Hope you guys enjoyed these and are having a rockin' weekend. I'm off to go drool over more of Hayley's designs and try to figure out which ones I should by first. Until next time. ✌🏻
